The
Mormon Women Tarot
Seventy-eight cards drawn from the experiences, questions, and inner lives of Latter-day Saint women, created in conversation with the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck.
Seventy-eight cards drawn from the experiences, questions, and inner lives of Latter-day Saint women.
Twenty-two Major Arcana and fifty-six Minor, in four suits — Bees, Books, Gifts, and Roots. Every card has its own page in the 104-page companion booklet: a description of the picture, a meaning, and a shadow, the harder or hidden turn the same card can take.
Deck, booklet, and magnetic-closure keepsake box. Ships from Georgia.
Draw Inspiration
Tarot has been reimagined again and again to fit the needs of each new generation. Modern tarot can inform, delight, instruct, caution, entertain, and comfort. Yes, the artwork draws our attention and the written explanations can be helpful, but the deepest and most personal meanings reveal what is already inside each of us.
This deck is a fusion of the upbringing that taught me to seek for truth and recognize the still, small voice inside myself and an exciting new way I have learned to listen to that voice in my adult years. Tarot decks, to me, are trusty companions and truth-telling friends. May this deck accompany you in many soul-searching explorations. The most exciting territory is within, and tarot lights a path to that door.

What’s included:
78 CARDS
A 104-PAGE COMPANION BOOKLET
A MAGNETIC-CLOSURE KEEPSAKE BOX
FOUR SUITS
The fifty-six Minor Arcana fall into four suits, renamed to reference the unique experiences of Mormon women, both inside the Church and out.
The BEES suit represents the material world, work, and service. Traditionally Pentacles.
The BOOKS suit reflects the mind and its questions. Traditionally Swords.
The GIFTS suit remembers the spirit and its authority. Traditionally Wands.
The ROOTS suit references the heart and its foundations. Traditionally Cups.
DAUGHTER, SISTER, MOTHER, MATRIARCH
Each suit ends in four court cards. The traditional Page, Knight, Queen, and King are reimagined here as stages of a woman's life.
The daughter is young and full of aspiration, a little idealistic. The sister, truly a sister of her church family, searches for ways to embody the essence of her suit. The mother has achieved the fullness of her suit and uses her gifts to lift others. The matriarch no longer has anything left to prove; she stands firm in the fullness of what she has become.
